Mostly warm and dry across the Mediterranean
Slack low pressure over Iberia will trigger a few thundery showers, particularly in northern Spain later in the day. Much of southern Spain and Portugal stay hot and sunny. The western Mediterranean and Italy will be largely dry, but a few showers may pop up along the spine of Italy and in the southern Alps. Isolated showers in the Balkans, but much of Greece and Turkey will be dry.
High pressure over northwestern Europe brings a fair day to much of France, highest temperatures toward the west with a general easterly breeze. Dry for the Low Countries, southern Germany and much of the Alps, but patchy rain affects northern Germany and parts of Poland.
Showery rain for the Baltic states and southern Sweden. Breezy with passing showers for Denmark. Frequent showery rain for west and northern Norway, plus western Finland. Areas of thundery rain affect western Ukraine, Belarus and Romania.
A few thunderstorms could develop over northeastern Spain later in the day but otherwise it's a warm, dry and sunny day for the rest of the country and for Portugal and the Balearic Islands too. Isolated showers may develop too over southwestern parts of Italy and Greece but staying mostly dry, hot and sunny for the eastern Mediterranean.
Dry and fine for much of western Europe too as high pressure builds here. France, the Low Countries, Germany and the Czech Republic all seeing a dry and fair day. A scattering of showers may develop over the Alps and over eastern parts of Poland but otherwise a dry and fine day too for Switzerland, Austria and western Poland.
Dry conditions extend into Denmark and southern Sweden though it may be somewhat cloudier here. An area of low pressure over Finland brings outbreaks of rain and some locally heavy showers to Finland, the Baltic States and northern Sweden though there could be some spells of sunshien between the showers for the Baltics. Outbreaks of rain for southwest Norway but drier and brighter to the north.
